Tricia Giron

Tricia Giron is creator and owner of The Culinary Palette, Ltd., a gourmet food business located in Darien, IL. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in food science, which she has used during her 14-year career in the food industry. She has worked with restaurant and research chefs to develop menu concepts and conversions for back of the house operations. While her cooking skills were acquired early during childhood, Tricia continues to experiment with recipe development and product development for her business. She has taken culinary classes through Kendall College in Evanston, IL to sharpen her culinary skills and techniques. Tricia has studied Mexican, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisines extensively and has conducted several lecture-tastings in the area including Naperville Park District, Lisle Park District, Barrington Area Library, and Schaumburg Township Library. She has been a pre-meeting guest lecturer for the Chicago Section Institute of Food Technologists. Recently, she has been showcased at Whole Foods Market in Willowbrook, IL, where store customers had an opportunity to observe culinary technique used in Mexican cooking and the art of fondue as well as sample authentic dishes.
Participants of Tricia’s classes will have an opportunity to utilize Culinary Palette products as ingredients in some of the recipes they prepare.
